SPINAL CORD INJURY REHABILITATION MEDICINE DEPARTMENT
Functions:
The Spinal Cord Injuries Rehabilitation Medicine Department is a clinical department, with its function are health check up, functional evaluation, health management and medical rehabilitation for patients with spinal cord injury, also traumatic brain injury, stroke and other neurological diseases, consultation on assist devieces for patients, people with disabilities and other clients; under the direct leadership of the director of the hospital and responsible to the director for the operation of the department.
Tasks:
1. Heath check-ups, health management and medical rehabilitation for inpatients at the General Rehabilitation Medicine Department and other departments in the hospital as form as outpatient, inpatient and day care rehabilitation.
2. Guide the use of assistive devices for patients.
3. Consultation for patients and their relatives on rehabilitation, psychology counseling and vocational education.
4. Apply rehabilitation therapeutic techniques according to the technical protocol issued by the authorities' institution.
5. Participate in education and training on rehabilitation medicine.
6. Guideline and transfer rehabilitation therapeutic techniques to lower-level line
7. Building working plans and bringing it into operation, building internal regulations, professional rules, and technical protocols of the department and submitting them to the hospital's leadership for approval.
8. Participate in solving social affairs and nutrition medicine networks in the hospital.
9. Participate in continuing medical education and training.
10. Scientific research, communication, health education, disability prevention, disease and pandemic prevention.
11. Term review, summarize and evaluate the result of the department’s work.
12. Carry out other tasks assigned by the Director.
